Learning Intentions from the week:
- I can describe the arrival of explorers and settles in Alberta, including their motivations and challenges
- I can reflect on the role of individuals and communities in shaping Alberta's future
- I can analyze the impact of human activities on the natural environment of Alberta
- I can spell words accurately, including high-frequency words and common spelling patterns
- I can adapt my problem-solving strategies when faced with different types of logic puzzles, demonstrating versatility in my thinking
Looking Ahead:
- We will explore who Eric Harvie was and the legacy he has left behind
- We will venture to Glenbow Ranch on Thursday, taking part in learning sessions focused around Eric Harvie, art, the land, and the area's history
- We will establish our routines for word work activities
- We will continue to experiment with logic puzzles, such as anagram families and math symbol puzzles during our morning Ignite time
